Even though the temperatures are cold, the race for City Council is heating up. I’ve stayed warm by walking door to door and meeting voters. Would you join me for an hour or two any upcoming weekend to help spread the word about our campaign to your friends and neighbors? Contact me by clicking here.

The Best Tasting Carrots
For the past several years, I have hosted an organic farm pick up site at my home. Known as Community Supported Agriculture (CSA), it’s a great way to get the freshest, tastiest, local, organic produce. The way a CSA works is that you purchase a “share”, and receive a box of seasonal produce each week during the season. Angelic Organics is a farm in north-central Illinois that has had a CSA program since 1993, and serves over 1,200 shareholders in the greater Chicago area. Shares are available for the 2013 summer and fall seasons. Click here for more information or contact me with questions.
